We strive to create a professional, respectful, and safe educational environment. This Code of Conduct establishes the standards and expectations that apply to all participants of the Institute’s educational programs, supervisions, and practical training.

Core Expectations

1. Punctuality and Attendance

  • Attend classes on time.
  • Respect the schedule of individual and group sessions.
  • Notify the administration in advance if you are unable to attend.

2. Engagement in Online Sessions

  • Keep your camera on during live virtual sessions unless otherwise agreed.
  • Actively participate in discussions and practical exercises.
  • Create conditions for full presence: a quiet space and minimal distractions.

3. Full Participation

  • Arrive prepared for all sessions.
  • Complete assignments and follow instructors’ recommendations.
  • Demonstrate full engagement in the learning and practice process.

4. Professional Communication

  • Communicate respectfully, honestly, and professionally.
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards of helping professions.
  • Avoid judgmental, aggressive, or disrespectful language or behavior.

5. Respect and Inclusion

  • Treat all participants, instructors, and staff with respect.
  • Support an atmosphere of equality, inclusion, and collaboration.
  • Do not engage in discrimination or inappropriate behavior in any form.

Consequences of Violating the Code

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in the following actions:

  • Verbal warning
  • Written warning
  • Temporary restriction of access to classes or practical activities
  • Dismissal from the program without refund in cases of repeated or serious violations

Acknowledgment of Compliance

By participating in the programs of the Chicago Institute of Hypnosis and Coaching, you acknowledge that you have read this Code of Conduct and agree to comply with its principles throughout the duration of your training.
