To ensure that any concerns are addressed promptly and equitably, we have established a clear process for filing and resolving complaints.
How to File a ComplaintIf you have a concern related to course content, instructor behavior, administrative issues, or any other aspect of your experience at CUH&P, please follow these steps:
1. Address the Issue InformallyDiscuss the concern directly with the person involved (e.g., instructor, staff member, or fellow student). Many issues can be resolved quickly through open and respectful communication.
2. Submit a Formal ComplaintIf the issue is not resolved informally, you may submit a formal written complaint to the Program Manager at
info@institute-hypnosis.com within
3 business days of the incident.
Your complaint should include:
- A detailed description of the issue
- Any supporting documentation or evidence
The Program Manager will review the complaint and provide a response within
2 business days to discuss possible resolutions.
3. Appeal the Decision (If Necessary)If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may appeal in writing to the Program Director at
info@institute-hypnosis.com within
3 business days after receiving the decision.
Your appeal should include:
- The original complaint
- Reasons for your dissatisfaction with the resolution
A written response will be provided within
3 business days.
Decisions made by the Program Director after the appeal are final.ConfidentialityAll complaints are handled with the highest level of confidentiality. Information will be shared only with those directly involved in the resolution process.
External Complaint EscalationIf your concern has not been adequately addressed through the internal complaint process, you may submit a complaint to the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE).
Student complaints must be submitted in writing to the Board (Section 85(i)(1) of the Act).Information about the complaint may be submitted online through the IBHE website:
