Chicago Institute of Hypnosis and Coaching
Effective Date: November 4, 2025
Chicago Institute of Hypnosis and Coaching is committed to a culture of academic integrity,
personal responsibility, and professional ethics. We expect all students, instructors,
and staff to uphold high standards of honesty in all academic and professional activities.
This policy is designed to promote honesty, fairness, and respect within the educational environment. The Institute follows the standards of the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE), the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH).
Academic integrity means completing one’s own work honestly, respecting intellectual property, demonstrating honesty in assessment, and taking responsibility for one’s actions.
Violations may be reported anonymously. All reports are reviewed impartially and confidentially.
Appeals may be submitted within seven (7) business days. Final decisions are made by the Academic Director.
Students are responsible for understanding and complying with this policy, completing their work independently, and seeking clarification when expectations are unclear.
This policy aligns with the ethical standards and professional codes of ICF, NGH, and the regulatory requirements of IBHE.
This policy may be updated in response to changes in legislation, accreditation standards, or institutional requirements.
