The Chicago Institute of Hypnosis and Coaching prohibits discrimination and maintains zero tolerance for discriminatory or harassing behavior in any aspect of its operations. The Institute is committed to an inclusive, respectful, and accessible learning environment for all qualified adult learners.

1. Policy Statement

The Chicago Institute of Hypnosis and Coaching (CUH&P by Yulia Volimerets, LLC) prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, age, religion, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability, or veteran status. The Institute maintains zero tolerance for discriminatory or harassing behavior in any aspect of its operations.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all aspects of the Institute's operations, including:

  • Admissions and enrollment in the Professional Hypnosis Training and ICF Level 2 Coaching programs
  • Instruction, supervision, and academic evaluation of students
  • Employment and engagement of instructors and administrative staff
  • Vendor and contractor relationships
  • Any activities funded in whole or in part by grant funds

3. Nondiscrimination in Admissions and Enrollment

Admission to the Institute's programs is open to all qualified adult learners who meet the applicable eligibility requirements set out in the Enrollment Agreement, without regard to any protected category listed in Section 1. The Institute does not discriminate in the terms, conditions, or availability of enrollment, tuition, scholarships, or program services.

4. Nondiscrimination in Employment and Contracting

The Institute does not discriminate in hiring, compensation, assignment, or termination of instructors or administrative staff, or in the selection of vendors and contractors, on the basis of any protected category listed in Section 1.

5. Disability Accommodation

The Institute is committed to supporting individuals with disabilities by providing access to reasonable accommodations in compliance with applicable law. Students or applicants seeking accommodation should contact the Institute at info@institute-hypnosis.com prior to enrollment, or as soon as practicable, to discuss specific needs.

6. Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging

The Institute is committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment grounded in integrity, professionalism, and mutual respect. The Institute values the unique talents, perspectives, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences that each student and staff member brings, and strives to create a safe and supportive space where all participants are treated with dignity and fairness.

7. Harassment — Zero Tolerance

The Institute does not tolerate harassment of students, staff, instructors, or any other individual on the basis of any protected category listed in Section 1, whether in live sessions, written communications, online platforms, or any other Institute-affiliated setting.

8. Complaint and Grievance Procedure

Any individual who believes they have experienced or witnessed discrimination or harassment in violation of this policy may submit a written complaint to the Director at info@institute-hypnosis.com. Complaints are reviewed promptly and confidentially, and appropriate corrective action is taken where a violation is substantiated.

Complaints involving the Director are reviewed by the Institute's external bookkeeper/accountant or another disinterested party.

9. Non-Retaliation

The Institute prohibits retaliation against any individual who, in good faith, reports a concern of discrimination or harassment, or who participates in the investigation of such a report.

10. Regulatory Compliance

This policy is intended to support the Institute's compliance with applicable federal and Illinois nondiscrimination law, including, as applicable, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and the Illinois Human Rights Act.

11. Annual Review

This Nondiscrimination Policy is reviewed at least annually by the Director and updated as needed to reflect changes in the Institute's operations or applicable law.
