Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Chicago Institute of Hypnosis and Coaching
CUH&P by Yulia Volimerets, LLC

1. Is your institute accredited?

Our institute is approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) under the Division of Private Business and Vocational Schools. We are not accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting body, as our programs are professional certification-based, not degree-based.
However, our programs are recognized by leading professional organizations:
  • International Coaching Federation (ICF)
  • National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH)
2. Do you offer fully online programs?

Yes. All our core programs are delivered online via the Moodle platform, with live Zoom sessions, downloadable materials, discussion forums, and optional supervision. Some workshops or intensives may also be offered in-person, which is always clearly indicated in the course description.

3. Are your certifications internationally recognized?

Yes.
  • Our coaching certifications are based on ICF competencies, which are globally accepted.
  • Our hypnosis certifications prepare students for NGH membership, which is internationally respected in the field of professional hypnosis.
4. What are the technical requirements to study with you?

Students need:
  • Stable internet connection
  • Computer or tablet with webcam
  • Zoom installed
  • Access to email (SendPulse) and Moodle (login credentials provided after registration)
All materials are mobile-accessible, but we recommend a full-screen device for live classes.

5. Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We offer flexible installment plans for most programs. You can request a customized payment schedule during enrollment. Full payment must be completed before certification is issued.

No. We do not offer job placement. However, we support your career development through:
  • Career strategy sessions
  • Resume and business toolkit
  • Weekly supervision and feedback
  • Professional networking opportunities
  • A collaboration with the Care of You center, where advanced students may engage in practice or observation
7. What is supervision and who needs it?

Supervision is a guided group or individual session where students reflect on their practice, get feedback, and develop their skills in a safe and structured environment.
We offer weekly group supervision, which is highly recommended (and in some tracks — required) for certification readiness and ethical competence.
